Women with polycyesis admitted in 2008 to obstetric departments of the hospital of the Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after V.I. They were studied retrospectively through their records. 35.1% of the studied group had had natural spontaneous pregnancy, 9.0 % - following induced ovulation, 51.9 % - due to implemented technique of in-vitro fertilization through embryo transfer, 4.5% - due in-vitro fertilization though intra-cyto-plasmatic sperm injection, one woman of 43 years had had oocyte donation. So, two study groups were created: women with natural spontaneous pregnancy and women with induced pregnancy. Medical social features were of observed pregnant women were studied. Age turned out to be a significant feature, specifically reproductive age: 64.1% of pregnant women of active reproductive age had had natural spontaneous pregnancy, and in 19.3% cases of active reproductive age an assisted reproductive technique of induced pregnancy had been implemented, while in women of retarded reproductive age only 10.3% cases had had natural spontaneous pregnancy, and in 43.6% cases an assisted reproductive technique of induced pregnancy had been implemented. The state of menstrual function was also a significant factor: in women with induced pregnancy oligomenorrhea occurred significantly frequently than in women with spontaneous natural pregnancy. Percentage of divorces and reiterated marriage had been much higher in women with induced pregnancy, than in women with natural spontaneous polycyesis pregnancy. Age of emergence of menarche, stature, and blood group turned out statistically insignificant in this comparative analysis. Indications for hospital admission of pregnant women with polycyesis included threatening premature delivery (one in a five of them), routine preparation and training for delivery (one in a six of them), and isthmus-cervical insufficiency (one in a nine of them). Motives for hospital admission included premature rupture of fetal amniotic membrane (8.1% of hospitalization), pre-eclampsia (7.2%0, and extra-genital conditions ( 3.6%). Keywords.
