Summary. Background. High prevalence of urologic disorders in Russia calls for new methods to increase treatment effectiveness; access to care and therapeutic decisions that are most effective and comfortable to a particular patient are key prerequisite for health recovery of the Russian population. The article reviews major performance indicators of urology departments of the Moscow region hospitals for the last 11 years.
