Therefore it is vitally important to create enabling conditions for such labour – technical, organizational, economic, normal relations between participants of the production process, i.e. owners of labor power (employees) and owners of means of production (employers).

The state is the go-between in labor relations governed by the current law and also the guarantor of social protection of people through executive and insurance bodies that monitor execution of law and workers’ social security and implement social programs in professional safety, healthcare and rehabilitation of employment injuries.

The aim of the study is to substantiate health-protecting technologies aimed at improved quality of life and health status on the basis of comprehensive evaluation of quality of life and lifestyle and factors affecting the morbidity of workers.

Objectives: a) to evaluate relations between lifestyle and working conditions and self-assessment of health by workers of the tube rolling mill; b) to develop evidence-based system of organizational preventive measures aimed at developing health-preserving technologies within the labor collective that encourage improvements in quality of life and health status.
