Insofar as health and mortality indices are concerned, Udmurtia can be considered as a typical Russian region with certain specific features. The research results include standing out over than twenty self-care behavior lines and thirteen self-care behavior directions that may have different impact on adolescent morbidity and mortality: principal attitude towards health and health life, responsibility for own state of health, attitudes towards educational measures and public service advertising, attitudes towards life expectancy, physical activity and reposal, attitudes towards preventive measures and medical treatment, diet, attitudes towards abortion, sexual relations, attitudes towards suicide, transport accidents, injuries, smoking, alcohol and drug consumption. The possible impact of self-care directions on adolescent disease-specific morbidity and mortality rates is highlighted at the final stage of the research.
