Abstract. Significance. Cerebral palsy is one of the most severe consequences of the nervous system impairments in the perinatal period. Possible causes of the cerebral palsy development include maternal infectious diseases during pregnancy, fetal hypoxia, complicated delivery and others.

The purpose of the study was to identify and analyze risk factors for developing infantile cerebral palsy exemplified by the Omsk city childrenĺs population.

The object of study is childrenĺs population of the Omsk region aged 0 to 17 years.

The unit of observation ľ an infantile cerebral palsy case.

Materials and methods. The study data was collected through data extraction from medical records. Information from reporting forms # 112/y, and inserts to the child developmental history, including: źFirst-stage Antenatal Follow-up╗, źSecond-stage Antenatal Follow-up╗, and źMaternity Home Discharge Record╗ was used as information sources.

Results. The study identified a number of factors negatively affecting the health of children, both during antenatal development and neonatal period, and contributing to incidence of cerebral palsy. An in-depth statistical analysis to identify most informative factors influencing this pathology is required to develop proposals for improving medical care for children with a high risk of cerebral palsy.

Scope of application. Results of the study are planned to be used for developing a roadmap for care delivery to pregnant women at risk of infantile cerebral palsy in their unborn baby as well as for developing roadmap of pediatric follow-up at childrenĺs polyclinics and care delivery to children of early age at risk of infantile cerebral palsy.

Keywords: infantile cerebral paralysis, risk factors of infantile cerebral palsy.
